Dr. Andrea Trescot

Dr. Trescot is a pain management specialist who is anesthesiology fellowship-trained and board certified in pain management by both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians.

She grew up in Palatka, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a BS (honors) in zoology. She attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and began her military career after graduation. Starting as an intern and resident at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, she soon completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia and was stationed at the Naval Hospital of Jacksonville.

Following four years of active duty, Dr. Trescot focused on the private anesthesia practice. However, she soon discovered her true love of pain management and left the operating room to devote her time to treating chronic pain.

Dr. Trescot established one of Florida’s first full-time interventional pain private practices, but her reach does not stop there. She has been in charge of pain fellowship training programs at the University of Florida and the University of Washington, and has reached the level of Full Professor.

She has authored textbook chapters and national pain guidelines and is closing in on her 100th peer reviewed professional atricle. She lectures across the country and around the globe on interventional pain techniques. Currently a Board Member of the World Institute of Pain (WIP), she was also the 4th President of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), America’s largest pain physician organization.

Dr. Trescot has committed her professional career to the future of interventional pain management. If you have any pain issue, including headaches, let Dr. Trescot help.
